There are plenty of expensive hair tools promising salon-worthy blowouts at home. During Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, one of the internet’s longtime favorites is going for less than $35.
The Revlon One-Step Volumizer Plus is currently on sale for $34.97, down from $65.99, during Amazon’s October shopping event — a 47% discount on the viral blow-dryer brush.
The two-in-one tool is designed to dry and style hair simultaneously, essentially combining a round brush and blow dryer into one device. Its 2.4-inch oval barrel is smaller than Revlon’s original One-Step model, allowing users to get closer to the roots while creating volume, waves, flips and curls. The detachable brush head also makes the tool easier to store or pack while traveling.
There are four temperature settings — cool, low, medium and high — along with charcoal-infused pins and tufted bristles designed to detangle and guide hair as it dries. Revlon also says the newer design exposes hair to 50% less heat than its predecessor while producing 75% shinier results.
The One-Step has become one of those rare beauty gadgets that has managed to outlive its viral moment. The current Plus model has more than 32,000 ratings on Amazon with a 4.4-star average, and Amazon says more than 1,000 units were purchased in a recent week. Its popularity has also made it a relatively budget-friendly alternative to the increasingly crowded category of premium air stylers and blowout brushes, where tools from Dyson and other brands can cost several hundred dollars.
At less than $35 during Prime Big Deal Days, the Revlon is also considerably cheaper than booking a professional blowout every time you want some extra bounce. And unlike mastering the simultaneous round-brush-and-blow-dryer maneuver, it doesn’t require quite as much hand-eye coordination.
The discount is part of Amazon Prime Big Deal Days 2026, which runs Oct. 6 through Oct. 7 and gives Prime members 48 hours to shop millions of deals across more than 35 categories, including beauty, fashion, tech, kitchen and home. Amazon is also releasing new limited-time “Today’s Big Deals” three times each day — at midnight, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. PDT — with some offers available only while supplies last.
This year’s sale comes a little more than three months after Amazon’s main Prime Day event, which ran for four days from June 23 through June 26. Prime Big Deal Days effectively serves as the retailer’s fall sequel, arriving just as shoppers begin stocking up for the holidays. Most deals require a Prime membership, which costs $14.99 per month or $139 annually, though eligible new members can sign up for a 30-day free trial.
