“Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul has finally found a buyer for his historic Los Angeles home, selling the storied property for $7.495 million more than a year after putting it on the market.
The 44-year-old actor, who now lives in Paris with his wife and daughter, sold the home to real estate developer Matt Kaliszan, according to property records.
Paul originally listed the home in February 2023 for $6.9 million. The 1930s Spanish Colonial Revival-style home in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood spans 3,700 square feet and features four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The property includes a guest house, a pool and a large backyard. It also boasts views of the city and the Hollywood sign.
Paul and his wife, filmmaker Lauren Parsekian, purchased the home in 2013 for $1.5 million. They extensively renovated the property over the years, adding modern amenities while preserving its original charm.
The sale comes as Paul has been spending more time in Paris, where his wife is from. He has spoken about enjoying the slower pace of life in Europe and the opportunity to raise his daughter in a different culture.
“I’m a very happy man,” Paul told Mr. Porter in December. “I’m living in Paris, I’m making a little bit of money, I’m with my family. I’m just trying to enjoy life.”
Kaliszan, who is known for developing luxury homes in Los Angeles, plans to renovate the property and put it back on the market.
